Description

This course is designed for fashion designers, merchandisers, and other industry professionals who want to learn how to use Adobe Illustrator to create professional-quality fashion designs and illustrations. The course will cover the basics of the software, as well as advanced techniques for fashion design.

Students will start by learning the basic tools and features of Adobe Illustrator, including creating and editing vector shapes, drawing lines and curves, and working with color and typography. The course will then move on to more advanced techniques specific to fashion design, such as creating garment flats, and creating repeat patterns for textiles.

Throughout the course, students will learn best practices for creating technically accurate garment flats and how to use them to create production-ready tech packs. They will also learn how to create custom brushes and patterns, as well as how to incorporate textures and fabrics into their designs.

By the end of the course, students will have a strong foundation in Adobe Illustrator and the ability to use it to create professional-quality fashion designs and illustrations. They will also have a portfolio of projects that showcase their skills and ability to apply the software to real-world fashion design scenarios.
