Description

This course is designed to introduce students to the technical drawing skills required to create accurate and detailed drawings of apparel designs. The focus of this course will be on creating technical drawings that can be used for pattern making and production, as well as creating compelling presentation illustrations.

Students will learn to create detailed flat drawings of garments, which are essential for pattern making, and technical specification sheets for factories, which require precise details such as stitching, measurements, and fabrics.

Upon completion of this course, students will have a solid understanding of how to create accurate and detailed technical drawings of apparel designs, and the skills necessary to communicate effectively with pattern makers and manufacturers. They will also have a portfolio of technical drawings and presentation illustrations that demonstrate their skills.
